We pride ourselves in offering well balanced, all organic, breakfast and morning snacks. Throughout the day the kids are encouraged to drink water to stay hydrated, and organic whole milk is served at meal times.
We follow good rules of hygiene to keep the kids’ bodies well and healthy by washing hands before all meals, after using shared learning tools, after blowing noses or sucking on fingers, and after playing outside. The kids learn the importance of keeping clean hands so they can come to preschool and have fun rather than be sick at home.
We have an annual visit from a local pediatric dental office to learn about good oral hygiene. The kids get to play trivia games about tooth brushing, do fun activities with oversized dental tools, and meet the tooth fairy!
We exceed many state licensing safety standards throughout the home to ensure all precautionary measures are in place. The kids learn about “9-1-1” and we have the local Fire Department visit annually for a fun lesson on fire drills and emergencies. The kids get the opportunity to touch and interact with the fire fighter’s equipment and gear. It is an eagerly anticipated and exciting event every year!
